Physical Therapy Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: They provide direct patient care by helping patients across the lifespan who are recovering from injury, illness or surgery, working in a variety of settings, from hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing facilities, private practices, outpatient clinics, schools,etc, utilizing specific techniques, including massage, hydrotherapy, and  exercise methods to treat patients, monitoring and documenting patient responses to treatment and progress.

 Salary: median salary is $45,290

 Education:  physical therapist assistants are required to have an associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.

 Demand for this particular career:

 Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 

 Yes, I am a bit interested but I don't know if this is the career i want for my future someday.

Thanksgiving Week My thanksgiving week was great I enjoyed it so much. I went shopping with my cousins and mom. I went to my g-od-mothers house on thanksgiving, my uncle and aunt came from Anehiem with thier new baby and some of my cousins had gone too. My uncle and cousin who is younger than me by two years and I went to the market to buy ice for our cold drinks. We also got chips and snacks for the little ones. Since it was really late to go home from Long Beach we slept over. We also played Jengo once we were done eating our dinner. We had so much fun that night! The next morning we woke up ready and eager to do something so we decided to have breakfast and go to beach since my god-mother lived by the ocean. We enjoyed the view and so refreshful day. On the weekend I went to watch the movie Coco. I loved that movie so much!

These therapists are often an important part of the rehabilitation, treatment, and prevention of patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries.   Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is one of the health professions that, by using mechanical force and movements, manual therapy, exercise therapy and electrotherapy. Salary:  $85,400 per year Education:  Physical therapist programs often include courses in bio-mechanics, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology. Physical therapist students also complete at least 30 weeks of clinical work, which then gain supervised experience in areas such as acute care and orthopedic care. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good. 9. Be truthful and honest at all times. 10. Take full responsibility for your actions. I think that these commandments are very good statements to live by. I mean if you follow them you be a successful person. Just like the 10 commandments of the catholic church that i live by and might not follow but are helpful and do teach you to be a better percson.
