Duties and Responsibilities: They help injured or ill people improve their movement and manage their pain. Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is one of the health professions that, by using mechanical force and movements, manual therapy, exercise therapy and electrotherapy.
Salary: $85,400 per year
Education: Physical therapist programs often include courses in bio-mechanics, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology. Physical therapist students also complete at least 30 weeks of clinical work, which then gain supervised experience in areas such as acute care and orthopedic care.
