Duties and Responsibilities: They Examine and evaluate patients who have congenital deformities or defects from disease or injury; perform surgery to correct, reconstruct or repair physical or functional defects, perform cosmetic surgery.

 Salary: $407,709 

 Education: They need to earn a bachelors degree,graduate from a medical school, earn a license, complete a plastic surgery residency, and consider completing a fellowship in a specialty.

 Demand for this particular career: Doctor of medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), 3- to 6-year residency
